BA, Harvard University, Studies of Women, Gender, and Sexuality
Since graduating from Harvard in 2016, Karl has stayed true to his varied academic background in language and science by tutoring a wide array of subjects, including Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Math, and Chinese. Because Karl specializes across subjects through the AP level, he often works with students for years—not only to teach material, but to reinforce better habits and chart strong long-term academic achievement. He believes the best tutors are not just effective teachers, but mentors who can create a supportive environment in which students learn to enjoy tackling their weaknesses and developing their strengths.
When he’s not tutoring, you might find Karl performing on stage, writing scripts, or, like some of his students, playing video games. He enjoys being creative just as much as being analytical, and strives to bring both skill sets to his work in and out of the classroom.
