We work with AP students in two ways. For students taking classes that cover AP content, we traditionally start working around January to prepare for the APs with a particular focus on test prep strategy. For students who want to take an AP in a class that isn’t offered in school, we typically will teach the entire course throughout the school year, starting in September, while also aiming to get students certification through related online courses. In both cases, we take a two-pronged approach.

As coaches, we set a plan for students to learn relevant content independently. As teachers, we focus on AP strategy and its two golden rules: 1) know the rubrics to think like the test-makers, 2) know the scales to optimize performance within margin for error.
