Katherine graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Brown University with a degree in Biology and honors research. She began her teaching journey through Teach For America, earning a Master’s in Teaching from Dominican University while serving as a secondary science educator in Chicago. Currently completing her Doctorate in Education at Vanderbilt University, Katherine combines research-backed methods with practical classroom expertise to deliver high-impact tutoring sessions tailored to each student’s needs.

Outside of her professional pursuits, Katherine is a nature enthusiast and finds inspiration in the interconnectedness of the natural world—a passion she shares with her students. She also enjoys birdwatching, nurturing her houseplant collection, and spending time with her beloved cats, who remind her daily to appreciate life’s simple joys.
