Alicia Carpenter | President and Head of Test Prep

Alicia is the CEO of Forum Education, New York City’s premier test prep and academic tutoring firm. Alicia began tutoring nearly 20 years ago in her undergraduate career at SMU, where she earned a double B.A. in International Studies and Foreign Languages. After earning her Master’s in Theater Education, Alicia moved to NYC and worked as the initial Director of another top tutoring firm before joining Forum as a founding tutor and its Head of Test Prep in 2014. Alicia has personally worked with well over 100 Forum families over the last 10 years, helping her students achieve remarkable gains and finding great fulfillment within the brilliant hivemind of Forum’s tutor collective. In 2022 she took over as Forum’s CEO, and now serves as its President and head of test prep. When she’s not running Forum, Alicia enjoys cooking, gardening, traveling, prop designing, and spending quality time with her husband Adam and her two young sons, Kieran and Finn, in the suburbs of NJ.
