A graduate from Harvard Business School with an MS/MBA and a double major in math and computer science from Duke University, Mollie tutors everything from advanced math to coding to business courses to business applications. By day, Mollie is the Founder and CEO of Perygee, which provides security and performance enhancement for HVAC systems in Hospitals, Data Centers, and Universities; the company has been  featured as a finalist for TechCrunch’s Startup Battlefield, SC Magazine’s Most Promising Early Stage Startup, and New England Venture Capital Associations Emerging Tech Company of the Year. Before starting the company, she was an Applied Research Mathematician at the National Security Agency. During that time, she was featured as one of 8 contestants on the TLC and Discovery channel series "Girl Starter," where she won the Microsoft Challenge.

A tutor with over a decade of experience, Mollie was once and continues to be a lifelong tutee herself. She knows firsthand the academic and emotional support a tutor can bring when going through a tough course, and she values learning from others in any subject or challenge life presents.

In particular, she loves bringing in the real world applications of material she teaches—whether that’s how mathematical algorithms underpin trust in a financial institution, or how software bugs led to the loss of the NASA Mars Rover. When working with admissions students, she not only helps define and communicate her students’ profiles as they are today but doubles as a career coach to enhance their personal narratives for years to come.

In her free time, she volunteers as the co-lead for the Protection, Safety, & Security group within the IEEE Clinical IoT Data and Device Interoperability working group—and enjoys running along the monuments with her identical twin sister, as well as playing hours of fetch with her dog Caius.
